SILICATE primer
Silicate primer is intended to provide water-repellent properties for concrete, bricks, wood, lime and cement-lime plasters constructions as well as for strengthening friable surfaces prior to painting them with silicate or lime paints. Can also be used for strengthening the top coat and protection from water when processing concrete floors, basements and their walls, sewerage well curbs etc.
Intended for exterior and inner works.
USAGE: Poorly absorbent, dense surfaces (e.g., concrete) should be primed 1-2 times using the method” wet over wet”. If necessary prime can be diluted with water or paint (when preparing the surface for painting). Well absorbent surfaces (e.g., plasters) should be painted 2-4 times “wet over wet”, preventing film developing on the surface. Prime should be applied with a brush, roller or pulveriser.
CONSUMPTION: In one layer approximately 1l/5-10m², depending on surface absorption ability.
STARAGE: In original package, at temperature above 0ºC stored approximately for – see the label. May not freeze. Mix well before use.
