Linseed oil for TONING
Composition of natural linseed oil for tinting is intended for tinting with a special pigment pastes to obtain covering linseed oil paint. The paint is indended for painting wooden surfaces - windows, doors, facades of wooden houses, wooden panels, furniture, however, mineral (plaster, concrete) and metal surfaces can be also painted. The paint is suitable for interior and exterior works, it is resistant to UV radiation. The paint is resistant to wear, it does not crack or peel off, it is deeply absorbed into the wooden surface.
Application: To obtain the tinted oil paint - Natural Linseed Oil for Tinting must be mixed in a certain ratio with the pigment paste. Dosing can be done according to weight or capacity proportion. Probable proportions of base and pigment paste are shown on the label, but a user may choose also other proportions to obtain necessary shade. Mix the paint before using. Paint has to be applied in a thin layer on a dry, clean wooden surface with a brush or roller. If the surface is previously painted, the old paint must be removed and the surface must be cleaned from dirt and dust. Wood must be dry - humidity ~ 17%. When the first layer is dry, if necessary, after ~24 hours you can apply a second layer. The surface does not need priming before painting.
Consumption: On a smooth wooden surface: 4 - 6 m²/l.
Drying: Applied in a thin layer at +20˚C, it takes 24 hours to dry. For poorly absorbing surfaces it takes longer to dry - from 2 to 3 days.
Cleaning of tools: Clean the tools with white-spirit, wash the hands with warm water and soap.
Components: Natural linseed oil, natural mineral pigments, thickeners, drying accelerators, special additives.
